The Bold Colorful Life Estate in August
The Bride's and Groom's families arrived early and spent a
few days enjoying the site during a lovely August week.....and
they tried out our 4 new kayaks in the cove at
the bottom of the property....
Then it was time to prepare for the two
events--the Rehearsal dinner put on by the groom's family...and the
big event, the Wedding of Holly and Kenny.
First, the
Maine Bay Canvas tent experts arrived to set up the
tent for the wedding reception for 60 people. The bride and groom
chose a site in front of the Gallery Barn...and
Ideal PortableToilets provided the Porta-Johns.
The rehearsal dinner was an informal grill
party on Wednesday night, the night before the wedding...the reception deck was 'all
decked out' for the event...
The preparation for the wedding followed on
Thursday.
The flowers and wine were kept fresh in the
coolest room in the Farmhouse...the laundry! Coral and gray were the
bride's choices.
The wedding was held in a lovely lawn area
near the entry to the River Walk...where the eagles wheel overhead
and the porcupines wander by.
The catering was by
James of
Coastal Critters
Clambakes and his
crew....beautiful, fabulous lobster bake....
and the chef felt the need to threaten the M.O.B.
...as the guests began to
gather for dinner, the DJs were set to provide background music....Warren
Cossette and Nick from
Party
Central 101
And then great dance
music....and the DJs tooks some memorable dance pictures.
...and the dancing took Kenny and Holly off into their married life...here's
wishing them a long and satisfying marriage together!!
A fine time was had by all.....in a gorgeous
site in mid-coast Maine....at the Bold Colorful Life Estate.
