BY DRIVING: To reach Mid-Coast Maine, find your way to Route One.

From Route One:

From Route One Heading North: Turn RIGHT onto Maine Rte 27 South. After 7.9 miles, follow the signs to Bold Colorful Life. First, turn RIGHT onto Adams Pond Road (just before the Cottage Connections sign) and an immediate (after.2 mi) RIGHT onto Dover Road for almost 2 miles.
Turn/lean LEFT onto Dover Cross Road for .7 of a mile and RIGHT onto Back River Road.

802 will be the first cluster of buildings on your LEFT.

A. The Farmhouse is designated 802 and to reach it, drive left into the circular driveway around to the large white building, attached to the red barn. You'll see the sign that says BOLD COLORFUL LIFE at the entrance to the main driveway.

B. The Cape is designated 802A and to reach it, take a left into the driveway...just after you see the gray boat with the small Bold Colorful Life sign, attached... on the left. If you miss it, just follow the circular drive back out to the road, take a right, and turn into the driveway just before the boat on the right. 

C. The Bold Colorful Life Gallery is off the circular driveway, in the detached barn, to your left as you face the river.

From Route One Heading South: Turn LEFT onto Maine Rte 27 South. After 7.9 miles, follow the signs to Bold Colorful Life. First, turn RIGHT onto Adams Pond Road (just before the Cottage Connections sign) and an immediate (after .2 mi) RIGHT onto Dover Road for almost 2 miles.
Turn/lean LEFT onto Dover Cross Road for .7 of a mile and RIGHT onto Back River Road.

Follow the italicized directions, above.

From Boothbay Harbor Area:

Follow Route 27 North to the stop sign at the Monument in the center of Boothbay, next to Town Hall. (Do not follow Route 27 as it bears to the right.)

Cross the intersection to Back River Road, north. Follow the signs to Bold Colorful Life. Drive 3.6 miles and you will see 802 Back River Rd. on your left, just after you pass the sign for Dover Cross Road which comes in on your right. 802 will be the first cluster of buildings on your LEFT.

BY AIR: From the Portland International Jetport

Fly into Portland International Jetport, rent a car or call for limousine service. Follow directions from Rte One Heading North, after driving up on Interstate 295. Private planes may fly into Wiscasset Airport. Rental cars (with advance notice) and taxi service are available. Follow directions from Route One, heading North.
